Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro in development: new flagship tablet with 120W fast charging

While the listing didn’t reveal many details, it did confirm support for 120W fast wired charging and a model number of 25053RP5CC. These specs have already hinted at a high-end tablet, and a well-known Digital Chat Station insider confirmed additional details ahead of the official announcement.
The latest information was released in a post on Weibo, where DCS stated that the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro is positioned as a flagship model. He also added that the tablet supports 120W fast charging and features a large 12.5-inch display. The screen technology is not yet known, but it is speculated that it could be an OLED panel or at least an LCD screen with a resolution of at least 2K+. As the name suggests, the new tablet is a direct successor to the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro.
Remember that the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro (review) was introduced back in 2024 and featured a 12.4-inch display with 3.2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 900 nits. Under the hood, it had a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Even though it is not the latest processor in the market, it delivered high performance. So, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro could come with either Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. However, it’s worth bearing in mind that these are just speculations – take them with a degree of skepticism.
