IFA 2025: Acer unveils new Android tablets Iconia X12 and X14 with OLED displays

At IFA 2025, Acer announced two new Android tablets with OLED displays at affordable prices starting at $320.
The Iconia X12 features a 12.6-inch screen with a 2560×1600 resolution and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. The tablet supports up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, an 8,000mAh battery, Android 15, and a microSD slot. Acer also offers accessories like a keyboard and stylus. The company estimates the X12’s battery life to be up to 16 hours.

The Iconia X14 has a 14-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1200, but features an unusual Allwinner A733 chipset built on an outdated 12nm process. This chip, more commonly used in TV equipment, limits power efficiency, so the tablet’s runtime is reduced to 10 hours. The tablet also supports up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, an 8,000mAh battery, Android 15 and microSD. Acer says both tablets are designed for work and entertainment and include an NPU for AI tasks.
OLED displays make the tablets attractively priced, especially given their design, but the X14 chip could be a limiting factor for users.

The two tablets, the Iconia X12 and X14, will be released in North America, Europe and other regions in November for $320 and $340 respectively.
In addition to those models, Acer unveiled two Iconia A-series tablets with IPS displays and the same Allwinner A733 chipset. One has a 14-inch FHD screen, the other a 16-inch FHD screen.
