Apple has unveiled a new iPad Pro with M5 chip

Apple has unveiled the next-generation iPad Pro, featuring the latest M5 chip, which delivers the highest speed and artificial intelligence-based performance of any iPad. The company claims the new M5 delivers up to 3.5 times faster AI performance than the M4 and up to 5.6 times faster than the M1.

The M5 chip includes a 10-core GPU with next-generation architecture and Neural Accelerator in each core, which significantly speeds up graphics and machine learning tasks. In addition, the 10-core CPU delivers record-breaking processing power, and third-generation ray tracing support makes iPad Pro ideal for designers, architects, and gamers.
iPad Pro now features the N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread support, as well as the new C1X modem in cellular-enabled versions. The latter delivers up to 50 percent faster data transfer and 30 percent less power consumption.

The device is available in two sizes – 11 and 13 inches – and features an Ultra Retina XDR display with tandem OLED technology, brightness up to 1600 nits and support for ProMotion and True Tone. For professionals, there’s a nano-textured glass option that reduces glare without sacrificing contrast.
The new iPadOS 26 operating system gets a redesigned interface with a dynamic Liquid Glass design, a new windowing system for multitasking, improved file management, and the introduction of a separate Preview app for working with PDFs. Apple Intelligence features – including Live Translation, smart actions in Shortcuts, and improved categorization of reminders – have also been added.

Other improvements include increased memory bandwidth of up to 150GB/s, twice as fast read and write speeds, and faster charging (up to 50% in 30 minutes with the new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter).
The new iPad Pro is available in Space Black and Silver, with storage capacities ranging from 256GB to 2TB.
