Xiaomi Mix Flip 2: leaked launch dates and battery capacity

That’s more than its predecessor with a 4,780 mAh battery, though less than the previously expected 5,600 to 5,700 mAh capacity. It probably just wasn’t possible to fit such a large battery into the compact body of a foldable device.

Release date and expected specs
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is expected to hit the market in the second quarter of 2025, which is between April and June. Earlier, it was only reported to launch in the first half of the year, but now the timeline has become more precise.
Water protection and advanced features
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is said to get IPX8 protection, 50W wireless charging support and an improved folding mechanism. Xiaomi also plans to offer a host of customizations geared towards women, as well as interesting color options.
Performance and cameras
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is likely to be the first foldable flip smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The new product is also expected to be thinner than the original Mix Flip. Instead of a telephoto lens, the model will get a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, keeping the dual module configuration.
