Vivo T4 Ultra will get a periscope camera and Dimensity 9300+ chip

The new product will be the successor to the Vivo T3 Ultra and will not only focus on high performance but also impressive mobile photography capabilities. The main sensor of the Vivo T4 Ultra is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The same sensor is used in the brand’s flagships such as the Vivo X200 / X200s, iQOO 13, and Vivo V50.
The smartphone will feature an 8-megapixel camera, presumably based on Samsung’s JN1 sensor, for wide-angle shooting. Unlike its predecessor, which had only two modules, the T4 Ultra will get a third camera – a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens. It supports OIS, telephoto macro, 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
It is also confirmed that the smartphone will get an OLED display with curved edges on all four sides. The resolution will be 1.5K and the refresh rate will be 120Hz.
The hardware behind the T4 Ultra will be the flagship Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset, which is capable of scoring around 2 million points in AnTuTu. The smartphone will be available in at least two colors: black and gold (Phoenix Gold).
It’s highly likely that the Vivo T4 Ultra will turn out to be a renamed version of the Vivo S20 Pro unveiled in December 2024 in China. The brand is expected to reveal more details about the upcoming new product in the coming days.
