Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 has been tested in Geekbench

While Samsung is preparing the flagship Z Fold7 Ultra for release, the standard Z Fold7 is also in development. This is confirmed by two new Geekbench benchmarks, which spotlighted the global edition of the device with model number SM-F966B.

Since these are pre-production samples, the test results are different. In the first, the Z Fold7 scored 1,916 in the single-core test and 5,231 in the multi-core test. In the second – already 2.896 and 9.226 points respectively. In both cases, the presence of an eight-core chipset with a performance core running at 3.36GHz is confirmed.

Z Fold7 will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite for Galaxy processor and 12GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 16 with the One UI 8 shell, which debuts specifically on Samsung’s new foldable devices.

By the way, this isn’t the Fold7’s first appearance in Geekbench. Last month, a version with the number SM-F996N, which is apparently intended for the Korean market, already appeared in the test.

According to rumors, Samsung will hold a presentation of its new foldable smartphones in early July. The event will take place in New York City and will focus on several devices at once, including the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7.
