Leaked: Honor Power will surprise with a capacious battery

Honor is gearing up to unveil the new Honor Power smartphone in China as early as April 15. While official teasers so far limit themselves to showing off the device’s exterior, key specs of the model have been leaked – and they promise impressive battery life and performance.
Hon Honor Power is expected to offer an impressive battery life and performance.
According to a reputable Digital Chat Station insider, the Honor Power will be based on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset (labeled SM7550). This is a mid-range processor from Qualcomm, capable of providing decent performance combined with energy efficiency. However, the main focus is on battery life: the smartphone will have an 8,000mAh battery and support for 80W fast charging.

The leak also mentions satellite messaging capability, a feature that remains a rarity in mainstream devices for now. It’s expected to be implemented in one of the models with the code DVD-AN80, which was previously certified by Chinese regulator MIIT. The same model number also appears in 3C’s database, which lists support for 80W charging – the coincidence with the leaked specs makes it likely that this is indeed the Honor Power.
Honor is rumored to be actively preparing other devices for release: the GT Pro model with flagship features, the new Honor 400 series, the X70 lineup, and the fresh Magic V2 Flip and Magic V5 foldable smartphones. The GT Pro presentation could follow shortly after the Honor Power release, the 400 series is expected in May, and the new foldables are scheduled to debut in June.
