The launch of Xiaomi 17T series may take place in February

Xiaomi last month unveiled the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro flagships for the global market, and now the first clues about the next generation have surfaced. Xiaomi 17T series models have been found in the IMEI database, hinting at an imminent release — just six months after the release of the current devices.
Interestingly, the company will skip the «16T» name, as it previously skipped the «Xiaomi 16» for the Chinese market. According to the database, the global version of the Xiaomi 17T is numbered 2602DPT53G, while the Indian version — 2602DPT53I. This could mean the return of the T-line to India for the first time since the Xiaomi 11T was released in 2021.
The Xiaomi 17T is the first time the T-line has returned to India since the Xiaomi 11T was released in 2021.

Global versions of the Xiaomi 17T Pro are registered as 2602EPTC0G and 2602EPTC0R, but the Pro model won’t have an Indian modification.
The «2602» number in the coding of the models points to a possible worldwide release of the series in February 2026. According to preliminary reports, the Xiaomi 17T will get a Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the older 17T Pro — Dimensity 9500. The new products are also expected to be some of the first global Xiaomi devices with HyperOS 3 pre-installed.
