The updated Nissan Ariya and Ariya Nismo will be released in February and March
In October, Nissan unveiled a small update for the Ariya and Ariya Nismo electric crossovers, and now it has revealed the timeline for the start of sales in Japan. The regular Nissan Ariya will go on sale on February 20, while the Ariya Nismo version will be available on March 19.
The updated Ariya gets a redesigned front end with a body-colored grille and new 20-inch wheels made from a combination of aluminum and resin. Three two-tone paint options and five monochrome options will be available for the model. The interior remains largely unchanged, but there is a new White/Green color scheme.

The infotainment system is now powered by Google, indicating the use of Android Automotive. Drivers can access Google Maps and the Google Play app store. The battery temperature management system can interact with navigation and automatically adjust battery cooling or heating based on the route selected.
The car also gets support for vehicle-to-load, which can deliver up to 1,500 watts of power to power external devices and appliances. For the Japanese market, the suspension has been tweaked — it’s now softer. In addition, the driver assistance system now allows the car to follow the car ahead, accelerating and decelerating repeatedly while maintaining a set distance.

The Nissan Ariya Nismo also comes equipped with an Android Automotive-based multimedia system, vehicle-to-load support and an intelligent distance control system similar to that found in the standard version of the model.
