Nubia has announced the launch of the Red Magic 11 Air smartphone
In October, Nubia unveiled the Red Magic 11 Pro and Red Magic 11 Pro+ gaming smartphones in China. Earlier, there were reports that the brand was preparing a successor to the Red Magic 10 Air model, released in April 2025, called Red Magic 11 Air. This information has now been officially confirmed by Red Magic Gaming Phone product manager Jiang Chao.
According to a well-known Digital Chat Station insider, the Red Magic 11 Air will be unveiled in China in January 2026. Jiang Chao reposted this information on Weibo and noted that the device will be very powerful indeed.

According to an insider, the Red Magic 11 Air will get a proprietary active fan cooling system, a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and a high-capacity battery. Apart from high performance, the smartphone will feature a stylish design. It will also reportedly be the first 2026 smartphone with a front-facing camera hidden under the screen.

The device with model number NX799J previously appeared in the database of Chinese regulator TENAA. According to the certification, the smartphone will feature a 6.85-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera under the screen. The main camera will be dual — at 50 and 8 megapixels.
The rumored Red Magic 11 Air will be available in configurations with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Battery capacity will be around 7,000 mAh. The device’s dimensions — 163.82 × 76.54 × 7.85 mm, and weight — approximately 207 grams.
