Xiaomi has launched Redmi Bluetooth Speaker 2 in a new color Twilight Black

Xiaomi has unveiled a new color variant of the Redmi Bluetooth Speaker 2 portable speaker — Twilight Black. The novelty is already available in China through crowdfunding at a price of 89 yuan (about $12). Previously, the model was offered in matte black, green and coral-orange colors.
The Twilight Black version gets a contrasting black and orange design with a glossy decorative stripe across the body. The speaker has a compact, rounded shape and is covered in a fine-textured fabric material for improved grip and a more premium look. It comes with a removable metal carabiner, so you can attach the device to your backpack or belt while traveling and walking. The speaker weighs about 200 grams.
The speaker system includes two elements: a 1.5-inch, 5-watt broadband driver and a large, bass-enhancing passive radiator. It delivers clean midrange and treble, as well as richer bass, which is especially noticeable in pop, EDM, and hip-hop genres.

Redmi Bluetooth Speaker 2 is IP67 rated, which means it is dust and water resistant. The speaker can withstand sand, splashes and light rain, so it’s suitable for outdoor use.
A 1000mAh battery is responsible for battery life, providing up to 5 hours of playback at around 80 percent volume. Charging is via USB Type-C, which also supports audio streaming. This lets you use the speaker as an external speaker for laptops and tablets.
The device supports Bluetooth 5.3 for a stable wireless connection. It also features TWS, which allows you to pair two identical speakers together in stereo. Additionally, you can play music without connecting to a smartphone — via a microSD card slot for up to 512GB of memory with support for MP3, WAV, WMA, and FLAC formats.
