Oppo unveils affordable K14x smartphone
Oppo has officially launched the latest addition to its K series lineup – the Oppo K14x. This model succeeds last year’s K13x and, like its predecessor, runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Featuring a large 6.75-inch display, the K14x targets the budget market with 5G connectivity.
The Oppo K14x sports an LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It boasts a peak brightness of 1125 nits, promising decent outdoor visibility. Under the hood, the Dimensity 6300 processor is paired with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Storage capacity can be expanded via a microSD card.

The camera setup on the back includes a dual module: a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Video recording maxes out at 1080p and 60 frames per second. On the front, there’s a 5MP selfie camera.
Powering the device is a hefty 6500mAh battery that supports fast wired charging at 45W, as well as reverse wired charging. The phone ships with ColorOS 15 out of the box.
Additional features include a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button, IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, Bluetooth 5.4 with LE support, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Oppo K14x comes in Icy Blue and Prism Violet colors. Pricing starts at $165 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM model is priced at $185.
