Tecno unveiled the Spark Slim and Pova Slim ultra-thin smartphones

Earlier this year, Tecno revealed the Spark Slim concept smartphone, which is just 5.75mm thick. Now the device is ready for a full-fledged launch – along with it, the second model in the series, the Pova Slim, will debut. As the name suggests, both devices feature an ultra-thin body close to the concept’s performance.
The Tecno Spark Slim is 5.93mm thick and weighs just 156g. The Pova Slim is slightly “thicker” at 5.95mm and the same weight. To achieve this size, engineers had to completely redesign the internal design: the battery, speaker, SIM tray, and USB-C connector, which is just 0.45mm thick.

Cooling here is realized with a 0.3mm thick vapor chamber, while the 5160mAh battery is 4.04mm thick. The design is based on Honeycomb’s proprietary Space Stacking technology, which improves the efficiency of component layout. The back cover is made of aircraft-grade fiberglass that’s just 0.36mm thick.
The two models feature a 50-megapixel main camera, and the Spark Slim additionally gets a Mood Light LED panel with animations for notifications.
In terms of performance, the Spark Slim is powered by Helio G200 chipset while the Pova Slim is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6400. The smartphones feature curved AMOLED screens with 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness up to 4500 nits.

A 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 10W reverse wired charging support is responsible for battery life. Other features include IP64 dust and water resistance, Android 15-based HiOS shell and Tecno’s AI suite.
Official pricing and launch dates for the Spark Slim and Pova Slim will be announced later this week.
