AirPods Pro 3 may come out without some of the announced features

Apple’s presentation is already September 9, and along with the iPhone 17 and Apple Watch Series 11, the new AirPods Pro 3 are expected to be announced. However, according to insiders, not all of the headset’s new features will be available at launch.
What sensors will appear in AirPods Pro 3
- heart rate sensor – the feature has long been discussed and already appeared in Beats Powerbeats Pro 2;
- temperature sensor – also mentioned previously, now a source confirms its presence;
So Apple continues to turn headphones into a device not only for listening to music, but also for health monitoring. As a reminder, AirPods Pro received audiometry and medical-grade hearing aid features last fall.

Wait for “live translation”
Bloomberg and 9to5Mac previously reported that Apple is working on a live translation feature for AirPods. What’s more, there were already hints of it being tested in iOS code.
- The feature may be formally introduced, but won’t become available until later – through a software update;
- it’s possible that Apple will postpone its launch altogether, as it has already done with some of Siri’s “smart” functions as part of Apple Intelligence.
What to expect from Apple’s presentation
At this point, Apple has no official confirmations about the new features of the AirPods Pro 3. The company will likely announce some of the features and leave them in “beta” status until final availability.
Final answers will come as early as next week, when Apple’s presentation is scheduled to take place.
