Moondrop’s “audiophile” smartphone MIAD 01 has been announced

Audio brand Moondrop has unveiled its first smartphone, called MIAD 01, which is designed to satisfy the needs of music lovers. The device offers advanced audio features typical of Hi-Fi players, yet remains affordable while retaining all the features of today’s Android smartphones.
The smartphone features a 6.7-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Performance is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

The device features a balanced 4.4mm output, a Cirrus Logic MasterHIFI DAC, an independent LDO power supply, hardware DAC volume control, and the Moondrop app for audio control. The camera consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and a 32-megapixel front-facing one for selfies. The 5,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging.
