Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro smartphones have flashed in the IMEI certification database

The «T» lineup usually serves as the global version of China’s Redmi K smartphones and comes out near the end of the year. The Xiaomi 15T series, for instance, didn’t debut until September 2025. However, fresh entries in the IMEI database indicate that the successors are already undergoing certification. It’s still unclear exactly what Xiaomi will call the new products — 16T or 17T. The company skipped the number 16 in the main flagship lineup, going straight to the 17 series to synchronize the numbering with the iPhone 17. It’s possible that a similar move will be made for the T versions. XiaomiTime notes that the prefix «2602» in the model codes could point to a February 2026 release — much earlier than the usual schedule for the T series. The devices’ internal code names are — «chagall» and «warhol». An internal code name for the devices is «chagall» and «warhol». The Xiaomi 17T is expected to get a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, while the 17T Pro — a more powerful Dimensity 9500. For comparison, last year’s 15T and 15T Pro ran on Dimensity 8400 and 9400+. There’s no official information yet, but early certification suggests that Xiaomi’s new T series is on the way.The T series continues the tradition of the Redmi K
