Samsung revealed which past flagships will get One UI 6.1
By ForGeeks Samsung has confirmed that previous models of the Galaxy S lineup will get a fresh version of the user interface along with the new flagships. This information was posted by a Samsung forum moderator.
According to the source, all models in the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 series will get the update to One UI 6.1 as soon as possible. The latter are also expected to partially support the artificial intelligence features from the Galaxy AI suite, which have been a key feature of the Galaxy S24 lineup.
According to the source, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23 series will all receive the update to One UI 6.1 soon.
The exact release date for the update has not been announced yet, but according to inside sources, it will happen in the first half of 2024, most likely in the spring. The company’s further plans to roll out One UI 6.1 on its devices remain unknown as well.
