Samsung Galaxy A05 and A05s officially unveiled in Malaysia
By ForGeeks Samsung has quietly unveiled the latest members of the Galaxy A series — the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. Both new phones feature 6.7-inch LCD displays with HD+ resolution in the A05s and FHD+ resolution in the A05s. The front 13MP camera in the A05s is located in the «waterdrop» notch, while the A05s has —an 8MP camera.
The A05s has a 13MP front-facing camera.
The difference lies in the chipsets: the A05s is powered by Snapdragon 680, while the A05 — Helio G85 MediaTek. Both phones feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage via microSD.
The two phones share the same 50MP main cameras (f/1.8) as well as a 2MP depth camera, but the A05s also has a 2MP macro shooter. Both phones have 5,000mAh batteries with 25W charging support. OneUI Core powered by Android 13 is responsible for the software.
The OneUI Core is based on Android 13.
Samsung Galaxy A05 is available in black, light green and silver colors, while the A05s — is available in purple. Pricing and availability information has not yet been announced, but should be available in the coming days.
