Huawei unveiled the MatePad Pro 13.2 with Kirin 9000

Huawei held a product launch event in China, unveiling the new Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design edition tablet, as well as a new model called the MatePad Pro 13.2. As the name suggests, the tablet features an impressive 13.2-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1920×2880 and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 3:2 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits.

The 16MP front camera is placed inside the notch, 16MP — on the horizontal side. The screen features impressively thin bezels. The MatePad Pro 13.2 features six speakers and four microphones for optimum voice transmission during conversations.

The tablet is just 5.5mm thick and weighs — 580g. The back panel has a round camera island with a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultrazoom. Huawei has not specified the chipset used in the MatePad Pro 13.2, but we assume that it is equipped with the same Kirin 9000s chipset used in the Mate 60 series. The tablet comes in a Wi-Fi enabled variant, 12/16GB of RAM and 256/512/1TB of storage.

The HarmonyOS 4 operating system is responsible for the software. The tablet also features a 10,100W battery with 88W fast wired charging support. The company offers a new third-generation M-Pencil stylus, as well as a new Smart Magnetic keyboard, which are sold separately.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is available in green, black, and white colors. Pricing starts at $711 for the 12/256GB storage version and up to $957 for the 16GB / 1TB version.
