Rumor: Honor Magic 8 will be released in October

The Honor Magic8 series has been the subject of many leaks, and now there are hints about its possible release date.
Insider Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo claims that the flagship Honor Magic8 series will be unveiled in mid-October. This would be earlier than the launch of the Magic7 lineup, which was announced in late October and went on sale in early November 2024.
According to previous rumors, the Magic8 series could include up to four models: the standard Magic8, Magic8 Pro, Magic8 Mini and Magic8 Ultra. The Mini and Ultra are expected to be unveiled in early 2026.
The Honor Magic8 series smartphones are rumored to be available in four colors. All models may get wireless charging support, a periscopic camera, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the screen. Honor will also reportedly equip the devices with high-capacity batteries.
The Honor Magic8 Mini, on the other hand, is expected to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 6.3-inch display and a slim body.
