Honor X6c renders leaked online

Honor is gearing up to refresh its entry-level segment of the lineup by unveiling a new Honor X6c smartphone. This device is likely to be the successor to last year’s X6b model, as evidenced by the published renders and specifications. Despite a similar design and hardware components to its predecessor, there are a few notable changes to the device.

The X6c’s back panel retains the recognizable square shape of the beveled camera module that characterized the X6b. The front gets a slight update: instead of the outdated drop-shaped notch, Honor uses a modern cutout in the form of a front camera hole, giving the device a fresher look.

The new Honor X6c features a new artificial intelligence button located on the left side of the case. It is designed to quickly activate AI features such as the Artificial Intelligence Eraser tool. According to leaks, Honor plans to offer several AI-enabled features. The smartphone will be available in three colors: green, black, and white.

The Honor X6c’s screen is a 6.61-inch TFT-LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 720 x 1604 pixel resolution. The device will also get IP64 protection for dust and water repellency.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset, which only supports 4G connectivity and belongs to the mid-range segment. It runs Android 15 with Honor Magic OS 9.0 shell. Despite the modest specs, the device promises decent performance for everyday tasks.

The camera features a 50-megapixel main sensor and is complemented by a QVGA sensor for depth sensing or macro functions. The 5MP front camera is housed in a hole in the screen.

A 5100mAh battery provides long battery life; versions with a 5300mAh battery may be available in some regions. A 35W fast charger lets you replenish power quickly.
