Xiaomi is preparing to release an updated lineup of Redmi Note 15 smartphones, and the first data about the top-of-the-line Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has already appeared in the Geekbench database. The 2510ERA8BC device showed impressive performance, scoring 1228 points in single-core and 3230 points in multi-core tests.

What’s known about the new flagship

1. Powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor

According to the benchmarks, the smartphone will get Qualcomm’s unannounced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip with the configuration:

  • 1 Cortex-X4 core (2.71 GHz)
  • 3 Cortex-A720 cores (2.40 GHz)
  • 4 energy-efficient Cortex-A520 cores (1.80 GHz)

This processor promises significant performance gains over the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 in the Redmi Note 14 Pro+.

2. Improved build and protection

  • IP68/IP69 (full water and dust protection)
  • Shockproof housing
  • Gorilla Glass Victus 2

3. Other expected characteristics

  • 6.67-inch 1.5K (1440p) AMOLED screen at 120Hz
  • 50MP main camera with optical stabilization (OIS)
  • A 7000 mAh battery with 90W charging
  • 16GB of RAM and Android 15

When will it come out and how much will it cost?”

The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is expected to be unveiled in late August 2025 in China, while the global release could take place in the fall.

Pricing remains a mystery, but given that the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ started at 1399 yuan (~$195, the new model could go up in price.

The smartphone will compete for a place in the middle price segment with models such as:

  • Samsung Galaxy A57 5G
  • Realme GT Neo 6
  • OnePlus Nord 5

If the leaks are confirmed, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ could be one of the most balanced smartphones in its category.
