Google announced a huge event: the Pixel 10, Watch 4, and Buds 2a as early as August 20

Google is gearing up for a massive unveiling of new Pixel lineup devices scheduled for August 20, 2025. The event will take place in New York City and will begin at 1 p.m. The company promises to show off not only new smartphones, but also introduce updated wearable devices, timing the launch to coincide with the Pixel brand’s 10th anniversary.
The flagship Pixel 10 lineup is of particular interest, which, according to leaks, will include four models: the standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The main feature of the new smartphones will be advanced features based on artificial intelligence. In particular, Google will introduce revolutionary photo editing capabilities, including adding people to existing photos and intelligent zooming without sacrificing image quality.

The design of the new devices will retain Google’s signature style, with the company focusing on a new gray-silver color called Moonstone. Among the possible technical changes discussed is a complete switch to eSIM, which would mean doing away with traditional physical SIM cards. Significant improvements to the telephoto lens camera are also expected.
Alongside the smartphones, Google plans to unveil updated wearable devices. The Pixel Watch 4 will get improved sensors for health monitoring and a smoother Wear OS experience. The new Pixel Buds 2a wireless earbuds promise improved sound quality and better active noise cancellation.

The event promises to be stellar — special guests include host Jimmy Fallon, basketball player Stephen Curry, «Formula 1» driver Lando Norris and popular music group the Jonas Brothers. Such a lineup of celebrity guests indicates that Google is preparing a truly massive show.
In its teasers, the company has hinted at a desire to move beyond traditional smartphone concepts, perhaps challenging competitors including Apple, which has yet to release a foldable phone of its own. The Aug. 20 presentation should answer all questions about Google’s new products and chart the future direction of the Pixel brand.
