Performance and battery

The smartphones are powered by the MediaTek MT6835V chipset, which is probably the Dimensity 6100 Plus. That’s a change from last year’s Realme V60, which was equipped with the Dimensity 6300. The Realme V70 and V70s will be available in two memory configurations: 6GB RAM and 128GB internal, as well as 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging is responsible for the battery life.

Software and additional features

The new products are expected to run Android 15 with Realme’s proprietary Realme UI 6 shell. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, microSD card slot, USB-C connector, and 3.5mm audio jack.

Price and Availability

Realme V70 with 8/256GB of storage is priced at 1,499 yuan (~$210), while the 6/128GB version is priced at 1,199 yuan (~$165). The Realme V70s is priced higher: 1,899 yuan (~$260) for the 8/256GB model and 1,499 yuan (~$208) for the 6/128GB model. An official launch date in China has yet to be confirmed, but according to leaks, the devices could go on sale as early as March 20.

Since the V70 and V70s have almost identical specs, it’s likely that they are meant for different sales channels – offline and online markets.
