Realme unveiled C75 5G – a low-cost smartphone with a rugged body and a giant battery

Realme has quietly announced a new budget smartphone, the Realme C75 5G. It is the successor to last year’s Realme C65 5G and offers a combination of 5G connectivity, a ruggedized body and a big battery at an affordable price. The model is already available in India.

Rugged and stylish design

Realme C75 5G has been certified to MIL-STD-810H military standard and IP64 dust and splash resistant. The body is made with reinforced aluminum and reinforced at the corners to withstand drops from up to 2 meters. The design is inspired by the shape of a lily petal, which is fresh and unusual for a budget device.

Screen, camera and specs

The smartphone features a 6.67-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution, 625 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. The dimensions of the device are 165.70 × 76.22 × 7.94 mm and weighs 190 grams.

Inside is a Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 6,000mAh battery with 45W charging support. There’s also a 5W reverse charging feature – the smartphone can be used as a powerbank for other gadgets.

There’s an 8-megapixel camera on the front, and a 32-megapixel GalaxyCore GC32E2 sensor on the back. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 15 with Realme’s proprietary Realme UI 6 shell.

Connectivity, interfaces and price

Realme C75 5G gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single speaker, dual-SIM support, 5G, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB-C port.

The smartphone is available in three colors: Lily White, Midnight Lily, and Blossom Purple. The variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs ₹12,999 (~$144), while the 6GB RAM version costs ₹13,999 (~$155).
