Realme GT5: leaked photos

Realme is gearing up to release its new GT5 smartphone, and we’ve gotten official confirmation on the brand’s Weibo profile, as well as a first look at the device thanks to a leaked spy shot. The company has confirmed the GT5’s name, and now we’ve got even more information thanks to reliable whistleblower Digital Chat Station.

Realme GT5 will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K (1240×2772) resolution and a rumored 144Hz refresh rate. The top of the device will feature a center cutout for the front camera. We can’t see the actual design, as the phone is housed in a protective sleeve.

The GT5 is expected to debut with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and up to 24GB of RAM. The new information also indicates that the device will come in 240W and 150W wired charging power, much like last year’s Realme GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5 240W models. The GT5 is rumored to be announced in August, and is expected to debut outside of China as the GT Neo 6.
