Realme GT5 Pro: camera leaks

Realme’s next flagship will be called the GT5 Pro, and rumors this summer suggested an OmniVision OV64B sensor for the 3x telephoto camera. Now the author of the Digital Chat Station leak has clarified the information, suggesting that we’ll actually see three Sony sensors. The user also said that the screen will have a 1.5K resolution, which is a marketing term that Chinese companies mistakenly use for 1220p panels.

If the new information is correct, we will see the IMX966 as the main camera of the Realme GT5 Pro. It’s claimed to be 1/1.4″ but it’s just as good as the 1-inch IMX989 thanks to its stacked structure. The 48MP IMX581 will be used for the ultra-wide-angle camera, and for the telephoto camera — the 50MP IMX890 sensor.
The IMX890 will be used for the ultra-wide-angle camera.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a Sony IMX966 sensor for the main camera and a 48MP sensor for the ultra-wide camera. This combination is expected to appear in the OnePlus 12, which reportedly features a 64MP OmniVision sensor for the periscopic camera.
The OnePlus 12 is also expected to feature a 64MP OmniVision sensor for the periscopic camera.
