There will be two versions of the phone — 150W and 240W. The former comes with 12/256GB or 16/512GB memory configurations and costs $410 or $450 respectively. The 240W version has only one memory configuration — 24GB of RAM and 1TB. The cost of this model is $520. Note that the different charging systems are paired with batteries of different capacities: 5,240 mAh for the 150W and 4,600 mAh for the 240W.

The 240W version is available in a variety of capacities.

Let’s talk about the 240W charging system. If the battery is low, you can get a 20% charge when plugged in for 80 seconds. The 150W version isn’t lagging behind either — despite the larger battery capacity, it can drain the battery to 50% in 7 minutes. Whatever version of the Realme GT5, you’ll get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. A 9-layer cooling system with a 20,827 mm² vapor chamber is responsible for heat dissipation.

Let’s move on to the display — it’s a flat 6.74-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,240 x 2,772px (20:9). The display displays colors in 10-bit format and has 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Peak brightness is 1,400 nits and utilizes high-frequency PWM backlighting at 2,160 Hz. The display operates at a refresh rate of 144 Hz. However, the Adreno GPU doesn’t have to do all the hard work of rendering graphics, as it works in tandem with the X7 display chip, which inserts frames to boost FPS in-game.

And the display is designed to be a very fast and easy to use display, with the Adreno GPU doing all the hard work of rendering graphics.

At the back is a 50MP main camera based on a Sony IMX890 (1/1.56″) sensor. This 24mm lens has an f/1.9 aperture and OIS. Next to it is an ultra-wide-angle camera with a 112° angle of view and 8MP resolution, as well as a 2MP macro module. Also next to it is the LED backlight framing the Snapdragon logo, it can glow in 26 colors and has 5 levels of brightness adjustment. The selfie camera utilizes a 16MP sensor (S5K3P9).

The GT5 — is a dual-SIM phone with 5G support. It also has four Wi-Fi antennas with Wi-Fi 7 support. There is also a Bluetooth antenna (with v5.3 support) with aptX HD, LHDC, LDAC and LC3 audio codecs.
