Rumors about Honor’s foldable smartphone in a clamshell form factor have been floating around the internet for a while now, and finally, the first details about the device have emerged. Insiders have published a photo that partially reveals its design.

The photo isn’t very informative, but you can see that the smartphone has two round camera units that are reminiscent of the company’s previous flagship devices like the Honor 90. But it’s not yet clear where the external display will be located and whether it will be there at all. There’s a possibility that the manufacturer may forgo the extra screen to bring down the price.

And it’s not clear where the display will be located, or if it will be at all.

Only a few specifications are known so far. The smartphone will have two batteries — one with a capacity of 2,420 mAh and the other — 1,980 mAh, for a total of 4,500 mAh. That’s all that is known about the smartphone at the moment.

And that’s all that’s known about the smartphone.

It’s worth noting that the Honor Magic V2 is considered the thinnest foldable smartphone, so the new device has every chance to repeat the success of its predecessor, but only among the foldables.

According to insiders, Honor plans to unveil the new product after the Spring Festival in China, which will be held from February 10 to 17. Perhaps the photo caption “2.22” is a hint at the device’s presentation date.
