A new K5 model is available with a new 2.5-liter atmospheric engine instead of the 1.6-liter turbo engine.
So far, the company has only announced the U.S. market version of the car. All 2025 K5 trims for the U.S. (LXS, EX and GT-Line), with the exception of the GT version, will have an eight-speed automatic transmission and one engine type — a 2.5-liter atmospheric engine with 191 hp and up to 181 Nm of torque.
All of the 2025 K5 trims for the U.S. will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission and one engine type — a 2.5-liter atmospheric engine with 191 hp and up to 181 Nm of torque.
The most powerful GT trim will remain unchanged and will feature a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 290 hp coupled to a dual-clutch robotic transmission. All other configurations will have front-wheel drive only, but an all-wheel drive option will be available in the GT. Charged versions will also get a sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch wheels with Pirelli P-Zero rubber (245/40R-19), bright green brake calipers and seat trim in a matching color.
The exterior changes to the model include new headlights and taillights, as well as redesigned daytime running lights. The shape of the front headlights has become more “zig-zag” and there is an additional jumper at the rear of the car. Also, the rear optics began to stand out behind the dimensions of the car.
The interior gets a new 12.3-inch center touchscreen, as well as an option for a 12-inch digital instrument cluster. Support for wireless versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also now available, and the center console adds larger cupholders, a panel for wireless smartphone charging, and Type-C ports. Equipment will also change: the base LXS version will have 16-inch alloy wheels, while the EX and GT-Line packages — 18-inch wheels.
