Oppo K12s with Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and 7000 mAh battery unveiled

Oppo has unveiled the K12s smartphone in China, a year after the release of the original K12. The novelty isn’t a completely new device, however. It’s a modified version of the recently unveiled Oppo K13 in India, featuring NFC support, additional memory options, and a new body color.
The smartphone features a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, and a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The device comes pre-installed with Android 15 and the ColorOS 15 shell, but it’s not yet known if support for software updates will be similar to the K13 – two years of OS updates and three years of security patches.

The main camera of the Oppo K12s features a 50MP module and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The 16 MP front camera is designed for selfies and video calls. Other features include an under-screen fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IP65 protection.
The smartphone is available in black, purple, and white colors. The memory options are as follows:
- 8GB / 128GB – 1,199 yuan (~$165 / €140 / ₹14,000)
- 8GB / 256GB – 1,399 yuan (~$190 / €165 / ₹16,345)
- 12GB / 256GB – 1,599 yuan (~$220 / €190 / ₹18,680)
- 12GB / 512GB – 1,799 yuan (~$245 / €215 / ₹21,015)
Sales of the Oppo K12s will start in China on April 25 via the company’s official website.
