Oppo Find X9: record thickness frames and 7000 mAh battery

The head of the Find series at Oppo Zhou Yibao has published the first images of the upcoming Oppo Find X9 and shared new details about the lineup. Judging by his words, the company is once again preparing an industry record – the flagship will get the thinnest and most symmetrical bezels among all smartphones.
Oppo Find X9: equal bezels on four sides
According to Zhou, Oppo has consistently evolved its screen design over three generations, from the Find X8 to the Find X8s and now to the Find X9. Last year’s Find X8s managed to beat out the iPhone 16 Pro Max iPhone 16 Pro Max in bezel thickness, and the new smartphone will take it a step further – and offer even narrower display bezels that are equal on all four sides.

Ibao emphasized that Oppo has invested billions of yuan in its own screen production lines, bringing a new level of design excellence. Among the details, he noted the “golden R-angle,” harmonious proportions and a breakthrough in minimizing bezels. According to him, Find X9 will be the strongest standard edition in the history of the series and will symbolize the brand’s 30th anniversary.
The manager suggested fans try to guess the exact dimensions of the frames, fueling interest in the upcoming announcement.
Screen and performance
Preliminary reports suggest that the Oppo Find X9 will feature a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is powered by theMediaTek Dimensity 9500, manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process technology. It’s one of the most advanced chips available, which will make the Find X9 competitive with other 2025 flagships.
Battery and charging
The new product will get a battery with a capacity of 7000 mAh. Support for fast wired charging 80W and wireless charging with a capacity of 50W is claimed. Such a set should provide long battery life during active use.
Cameras and new features

- 50 MP Samsung JN5 (ultra-wide-angle lens);
- 50MP Samsung JN9 with 3x optical zoom support;
Oppo is also introducing an upgraded color reproduction system Danxia, which promises more accurate and natural-looking shades in the shots.
When to expect the announcement
According to insiders, the unveiling of the Oppo Find X9 series will take place in early October 2025. It will be one of the main events of the fall and a major release for the brand, which has celebrated its 30th anniversary.
