OnePlus has unveiled a compact flagship 13s

The most compact flagships – those smaller than 6 inches – are rare, but demand for devices with a diagonal of around 6.3″ and a top-end chipset remains high. The problem is that such models are usually expensive and often available only in a limited number of countries. OnePlus has found a solution to the first problem, but not the second.
OnePlus 13s is coming out exclusively for India. It’s a smartphone with a 6.32″ screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and measures 71.7mm wide, 8.15mm thick and weighs 185g. It’s lighter than the Pixel 9 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro, but has a much more capacious battery.

The main feature of the device is the flagship processor. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is complemented by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 or 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. For cooling is responsible for the evaporative chamber with an area of 4 400 mm² and innovation – cooling layer on the back panel. The smartphone runs OxygenOS 15 (based on Android 15).
The 5,850mAh battery is impressive not only by mini-smartphone standards, but also by today’s flagship standards. By comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has a 5,000mAh battery and the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a 4,685mAh battery. 80-watt SuperVOOC charging and battery bypass mode (powered directly from an outlet) are supported.

OnePlus claims the 13s is capable of over 7 hours of BGMI playback without dropping below 120 fps and without recharging.
The screen is an LTPO OLED with a 6.32″ diagonal and a resolution of 1,216 × 2,640 pixels. Refresh rates range from 1 to 120 Hz, and 10-bit color and Dolby Vision are supported. The brightness in peak mode reaches 1,600 nits, and the minimum value is only 1.1 nits. PWM is 2,160 Hz.
The main camera is a 50 MP Sony LYT-700 sensor (1/1.56″, 1.0 µm) with f/1.8 optics and OIS. The second camera is a telephoto with 2x zoom, a 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor (0.64 µm) and f/2.0 lens (EIS only). Both cameras record video in 4K at 60 fps with Dolby Vision HDR.
The front camera is 32 MP (1/3.1″, 0.7 µm) with wide-angle optics (21 mm, 90°, f/2.0) and autofocus. 4K video recording at 30 fps is supported.
The smartphone uses an omnidirectional system of 11 antennas and a G1 chip to improve Wi-Fi stability.
OnePlus has also ditched the familiar Alert Slider mode slider, replacing it with a new Plus Button. This button is customizable for switching audio modes, turning on Do Not Disturb, saving content to Mind Space, launching Plus Mind’s AI assistant, and other tasks.

Interfaces include 5.5G support in India, Wi-Fi 7 (including be, 2.4 and 5GHz), Bluetooth 6.0 (with aptX HD, LDAC and LHDC 5.0 support), NFC and an IR port to control tech.
Of the useful AI-powered features is VoiceScribe, which can record, translate and summarize audio from calls, meetings and even videos in third-party apps including YouTube, Zoom, WhatsApp and others. Real-time translations are displayed as subtitles, and transcripts and summaries are saved in notes. OnePlus’ proprietary Phone also supports real-time translations and summaries of conversations.
