Nubia will unveil the Red Magic 8S Pro on July 5

The nubia Red Magic 8S Pro gaming smartphone will launch on July 5, the gaming sub-brand confirmed today on Weibo. The launch event will be held in China. The smartphone is expected to be the same as the Red Magic 8 Pro, but with a newer Qualcomm chipset.

Rumors earlier this month suggested that the 8S Pro would feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 platform. We’ve also heard that a Nubia gaming tablet is on the way, but the ZTE-owned brand hasn’t mentioned anything on its page, and the leaks are silent on any specific details that might hint at a possible product launch.

The 8S Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2.

Returning to the Red Magic 8S Pro, the chipset is expected to be the only difference from the Red Magic 8 Pro duo; everything else should be the same — a large flat 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a selfie camera below the display, 16GB of RAM and plenty of fast charging.
