Nothing has announced the imminent release of a new smartphone, the Phone (3a) Lite — a more affordable version of the mid-range Phone (3a) model. The device will be unveiled on Wednesday, October 29, at 13:00 GMT.

Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (3a) Lite will be the brand’s first budget smartphone. The device will retain the company’s signature transparent design, and a short teaser shows a single flashing LED that appears to be part of the Glyph Matrix backlighting system.

According to earlier leaks, the Phone (3a) Lite will hit the global market. The device was spotted in the Geekbench database with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor and 8GB of RAM.

The smartphone will go on sale in black and white colors, and the starter version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage will cost around 230-250 euros.
