Motorola has unveiled the Edge 70 ultra-thin smartphone
Motorola has unveiled a new smartphone Edge 70, which has become part of the fashion for ultra-thin devices. It combines smart features, stylish design, advanced software and a reasonable price, making it one of the most interesting offerings in this segment.
The Motorola Edge 70 has a body thickness of just 5.99 mm — slightly more than the iPhone Air (5.64 mm) and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge (5.8 mm), but the device weighs just 159 grams. This makes the smartphone comfortable to hold in your hand, while IP68/IP69 protection and MIL-STD-810H certification ensure high reliability with minimal weight.

The device features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
Despite the slim body, the smartphone gets a capacious 4,800 mAh battery. Motorola uses silicon-carbon technology, which offers improved efficiency and durability. According to the company, a single charge will last up to 50 hours of mixed usage. The charger supports 68 watts of power over cable and 15 watts over wireless.
The main camera features a 50-megapixel sensor, which complements a wide-angle module with the same resolution. The front camera is also at 50MP.

Motorola Edge 70 runs on Android 16 and will receive three further system updates as well as security updates until 2031. The smartphone comes in three colors developed with Pantone: Bronze Green, Lily Pad, and Gadget Grey. The body is made of polycarbonate, and it comes with a slim magnetic case.
The Motorola Edge 70 will start selling on November 5 in the UK, Europe, Latin America, and other regions. It will be priced at £700 (about $915), making the device noticeably cheaper than rivals from Samsung and Apple.
