Moto G56: Motorola’s budget novelty has been spotted online

Motorola is preparing to release a new Moto G56 smartphone, which has already made its way into the lens of insiders. The device is positioned as an affordable solution with impressive specs and apparently won’t appear in the US.

The company has already unveiled several models in the spring, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop. Several devices from the Moto G lineup, including the new G56, are expected to be released in the coming weeks.

The company has already unveiled several models in the spring, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop there.

The new leaks show the smartphone from all angles and reveal design details. The Moto G56 will be available in four colors designed in collaboration with Pantone: Black Oyster, Gray Mist, Dazzling Blue and Dill. The renders show all but the gray variant.

The model first appeared online a month ago courtesy of Evan Blass, but now we’re seeing it from all angles. From a design perspective, it’s still the same device, but the new images give us a better look at the body and finish.

What’s inside the Moto G56

Although the price hasn’t been announced yet, the smartphone is expected to cost around $250 / €250. That puts it on the upper end of the budget segment – slightly below mid-range.

Where the Moto G56 will appear

The previous Moto G55 was released in August 2024 and was sold in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Based on current information, the Moto G56 will go the same route and will likely not be officially launched in the U.S.

This is a logical move for Motorola as the company strengthens its position in regions where affordable smartphones with good specs are especially in demand.
