Moto G 5G (2025): leaked renders and specs

Motorola is preparing to unveil the next generation of its affordable 5G smartphone, the Moto G 5G (2025). Thanks to the latest information from 91mobiles and Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks), we already have a clear idea of the design and specs of the upcoming device.

Design and display
Moto G 5G (2025) will retain the familiar aesthetic with a flat display and slightly thickened bottom bezel. It will also retain the side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack. However, the most noticeable change is the much improved rear camera module. It will now feature three sensors, which will likely improve the camera capabilities.

Performance and battery

In comparison, the Moto G (2024) features a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a water-repellent vegan leather back.

Availability
The Moto G 5G (2025) is expected to be announced at the same time as the Moto G Power 5G (2025). However, it is not yet known whether the new product will be available in the Indian market.
In other news, Motorola is preparing to launch the Moto G05 and Moto G15, budget models that will run on Android 15 upon release. Both models will get a 50 MP main camera, a front camera with a hole in the screen, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a leather-covered body.
