Meizu Note 16 design confirmed, color options revealed

Meizu is gearing up to unveil the new Note 16 series in May, and now we know what the smartphones will look like. Meizu’s general manager for China, Xiao Bo, has revealed the official design of the devices, inspired by traditional Chinese “round beams” and with references to the style of Huawei’s foldable smartphones.

The Meizu Note 16 series will be available in at least two colors – white and red. The white version will get a silver bezel, while the red version will get a gold bezel. Both variants will be highlighted by a red power button. At the back, there is an octagonal camera unit with dual sensors and a circular flash.

The regular Meizu Note 16 will get a 6.78-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and an 8 MP front camera. The main camera system includes a 50 MP primary sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor.

The Unisoc T765 chipset is installed inside, and the smartphone will run Android 15 with Flyme AIOS 2 shell. A large 6,600mAh battery with 40W wired charging support is also expected. Meanwhile, the more advanced Note 16 Pro is rumored to get a slightly smaller battery (6,150 mAh), but with 80W fast charging.
