Apple iPhone 15 mockups confirm Dynamic Island in base models

Here we go again — new mockups of the Apple iPhone 15 have surfaced, offering a glimpse at the next-generation’s color schemes. An insider has obtained several of these mockups and made a video showing off not only the colors, but also some of the changes to the 15 series design.
Starting with the base iPhone 15, it will be available in the usual white and black colors, as well as three pastel shades: yellow, pink/red, and blue. The body is still made of aluminum and has a matte finish. If you look at the sides, you will notice that the toggle button is still located on the body. There’s also a SIM card tray, which will be retained for phones sold internationally, but may not be present on US/Canada models.

It’s also interesting to note that the Dynamic Island is present on these mockups. Rumors of this change have been circulating for months, so we’re not surprised.
The next mockup is — the Apple iPhone 15 Pro. There’s also the familiar Silver and Space Black, plus a new color — Titan Gray, as well as a single color option — Deep Blue. The mockups have glossy sides, though the real phones will likely have titanium frames that are matte.

An interesting change on the side — a new Action button. It’s quite tiny (the same size as the switch it replaces), whereas on the Apple Watch Ultra, where it first appeared, it was quite prominent. The Action button will have 9 functions, including silent mode, as well as accessibility, quick access, camera and flashlight, magnifier, translation, and voice memos.
