Honor is preparing to release a new flagship smartphone, the Honor Magic 7 RSR, which is scheduled for December 2024. It is expected to continue using the design approach of the previous model, including a unique hexagonal camera module. According to a Digital Chat Station (DCS) insider, the device will get a 50-megapixel main camera with variable aperture for improved shooting in different lighting conditions, as well as a 200-megapixel periscopic telephoto lens for impressive zoom capabilities. The third camera, presumably an ultra-wide-angle one, could also be 50 MP, echoing the configuration of the Honor Magic 7 Pro.

Also, DCS has shared information about a new device from the GT series, which will aim to compete with performance smartphones from Redmi and iQOO. This device is expected to get a flat display with 1.5K resolution, increased battery capacity and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The model is likely to be the successor to the Honor 90 GT and could compete with devices like the Redmi K80 and iQOO Neo 10.

At the same time, Realme recently launched a flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 7 Pro with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which starts at 3,599 yuan (about $506 USD). The model is aimed at users looking for a powerful device for gaming and everyday use, making it an attractive value for money.
