Lava Play Ultra gaming smartphone will debut on August 20

Indian brand Lava is gearing up to launch a new mid-range smartphone, the Lava Play Ultra, which will debut on August 20. The device will target gaming enthusiasts in the under Rs 15,000 segment.

Although the manufacturer is yet to reveal all the specifications of the model, insider Mukul Sharma has revealed the key features of the upcoming new product.

• Display: 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and likely FHD+ resolution.
• Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7300.
• Storage: UFS 3.1 (RAM options not yet known).
• Battery: 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
• Camera: Sony IMX682 64MP primary sensor in a square module.

• Game Boost mode for enhanced gaming performance.
• Noise-canceling stereo speakers and dual microphones.
• Podscreen fingerprint scanner.
• 3.5mm audio jack for headphones.

Colors and availability:Lava Play Ultra will be available in two variants – black and white. The smartphone will be available on Amazon.
