An insider has shared details about Samsung’s upcoming smartphones

A well-known insider Ice Universe has shared new information about Samsung’s upcoming smartphones. According to him, the Korean company is emphasizing on slim models, but a significant increase in battery capacity is not to be expected.

“According to some exclusives, the next direction of Samsung’s flagship models will continue to be thin and light: both the battery will be thin and the body will continue to be thin. The Galaxy Z Fold7 will be the world’s thinnest foldable device at the time of release, 3.9mm unfolded, 8.9mm folded, with a 4400mAh battery (capacity). New battery and charging technology is expected to be used, and the Z Flip7’s battery will have a 4,300 mAh capacity, while the base version of the Galaxy S26 will continue to be thin,” Ice Universe wrote on its X social networking page.
Samsung Galaxy S26 will be powered by Qualcomm’s next-generation flagship single-chip system and will retain a compact screen. As for the thickness of the body, there are no exact details. It’s possible Samsung will go the Galaxy S25 Edge route with a 5.85mm thickness, but either way it’s unlikely to exceed 7.2mm like the Galaxy S25.
