Note 40X 5G is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone features dual speakers and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera that supports Dynamic Bar for notifications and status alerts.

On the back is a 108MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.75. It is joined by a 2MP macro camera and an AI lens. The software is represented by XOS 14 based on Android 14, and the battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports 18W charging.
