Honor X60 will get a 6600 mAh battery

Honor is gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated X60 series next week, on October 16. The company announced some exciting new features on its Weibo account today.
The new “Qinghai Lake” battery will impress with its 6,600mAh capacity, promising up to two days of battery life — a significant improvement over the 5,800mAh batteries found in previous Honor X50 models that supported 35W charging. While Honor has not officially confirmed charging speeds for the new series, there are hints that only the top-of-the-line X60 Pro model will feature a higher capacity battery. Leaked hands-on images of the standard Honor X60 show a 5,800mAh battery with 35W charging, which is in line with its predecessor.

But the updates aren’t limited to the battery. Honor also said that at least one X60 series model will support satellite communication — a feature that’s becoming increasingly popular among flagship phones. The X60 series displays will feature the latest 3,840Hz high-frequency PWM backlighting, designed to reduce eye strain and provide a smoother viewing experience.
Besides smartphones, Honor may unveil a few more products. Recent leaks hint at the launch of the Honor Tablet GT Pro, which is attributed to a 12.3-inch display. Stay tuned, as more teasers and details may emerge before the official unveiling next week!”
