Honor teases Honor 400 series: powerful AI cameras and flagship displays

Honor has officially started preparing for the launch of its new Honor 400 line of smartphones. The brand shared the first teasers in Malaysia, revealing key design details and hinting at an imminent announcement. Apparently, the series will be a direct follow-up to last year’s Honor 300 and 300 Pro.
Without making too much noise, the company is emphasizing on AI camera capabilities and premium looks.
Stake on design and AI-powered photos
In a published image, Honor showed off the back panel of the upcoming smartphone. The main element is a large round camera unit, which houses three lenses and, presumably, an LED flash. The design is strictly symmetrical, with an emphasis on style.
Right above the camera is the caption “Next-Gen AI Imaging,” clearly indicating the prioritization of artificial intelligence capabilities in new devices. At the bottom of the frame is the terse “Coming Soon,” which confirms an imminent release. According to preliminary reports, the series will be unveiled as early as May.
