Honor has unveiled Play 60 and 60m smartphones with Dimensity 6300 chip and 6000 mAh battery
By ForGeeks The new Honor Play 60 and Play 60m smartphones, successors to last year’s Play 50 series, have been officially announced in China. Both models have identical hardware, but differ in terms of color options and price.
Display, performance and software
The heart of the Honor Play 60 and 60m is an octa-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 2×Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4GHz and 6×Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz, as well as ARM G57 MC2 graphics. The smartphones run the MagicOS 9.0 shell based on Android 15.
The two devices feature 6.61-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1604×720 pixels, peak brightness of up to 1010 nits and support for up to 10 simultaneous touches. Eye protection and natural light adaptation modes are also available.
Cameras and shooting features
The cameras in the Play 60 and Play 60m are completely identical. The main module is 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and support for 10x digital zoom and 1080p video recording. The 5MP (f/2.2) front camera also supports full HD shooting.
Night mode, dual video recording, HDR, slow motion, timelapse, and smile detection are among the shooting modes available.

The two models feature 6,000mAh battery with support for 5V/3A charging and intelligent power management. The smartphones also get IP64 dust and splash protection.

The smartphones support two SIMs, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, as well as navigation via GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and Galileo. There’s USB-C, OTG support3.5mm audio jack.
Security features includeFace Unlock, app security, AI-assisted face swap detection, private assistant, and payment data protection. Other features include read-only mode, device and app cloning, and knuckle control.
