The Honor Magic 8 series is just days away from its official launch, and ahead of the presentation, the company has revealed one of the main characteristics of the new products — battery capacity. Judging by the fresh data, the smartphones will boast impressive battery life.
In a new teaser, Honor confirmed that the Magic 8 Pro model will feature a 7,200 mAh battery, while the standard Magic 8 will get a 7,000 mAh cell. In addition, the manufacturer said that the Magic 8 series devices will offer the widest OTA coverage in the industry. According to leaks, the Honor Magic 8 will be just 7.9mm thick and weigh around 205 grams. The smartphone supports 90W wired charging and wireless — 80W. The main camera is represented by three sensors: 50 MP (main), 200 MP (telephoto lens) and 50 MP (ultra-wide-angle). The front camera is — 50 MP. Honor Magic 8 Pro is a bit bigger and heavier: the body thickness is 8.3mm and it weighs 219 grams. The device supports 120W fast charging via cable and 80W wireless charging.
The two models will run Android 16 with MagicOS 10 «out of the box» proprietary shell. The new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip is responsible for the performance, making the Magic 8 series one of the most powerful 2025 flagships on the market.
