Honor is preparing to launch its most rugged phone yet

Last year, Honor launched the Honor X9b mid-range smartphone, which offered several drop protection features. One of them was the «Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display», which included a shock-absorbing material that offered drop resistance from heights of up to 1.5 meters.

A Honor X9b was the first of its kind.

Honor’s Malaysia division hinted today that the company is preparing to launch a more rugged smartphone. It is expected to be called the Honor X9c. While we didn’t get any photos of the smartphone, the teasers clearly hint at the device’s name and structural integrity. The Honor X9c is likely to be a mid-range smartphone like its predecessor.
