The Red Magic Nova gaming tablet will launch globally on October 16

Inside the Red Magic Nova is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Edition — a higher clocked version with a 3.4GHz Cortex-X4 main core and a 1GHz GPU. This matches the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, making it the best chipset in terms of performance in the Android realm.

But while Samsung devices rely on passive cooling, the Red Magic Nova features a 9-layer cooling system, culminating in a 20,000rpm turbo fan. Between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the fan are heat pipes, air channels, heat dissipation alloy, graphene, copper foil, heat conducting gel, copper foil motherboard and an all-metal aircraft aluminum case. Red Magic claims that such an elaborate system reduces core temperature by 25°C.

The tablet features a 10,100mAh battery with 80W charging support. The developers claim that you can expect 10 hours of gaming and nearly 19 hours of normal use.

The Red Magic Nova’s all-metal body features a CNC-cut center frame, 45-degree anti-slip chamfer, and an anodized back cover. The tablet weighs 520g and is 7.3mm thick.

Display — 10.9-inch IPS LCD with 2880×1800 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and touch sampling rate up to 840Hz. There’s a 20MP front-facing camera and a single 50MP camera on the back.

The Red Magic Nova will start selling on October 16. The Red Magic Nova is priced at 46,000 rubles for the 12/256GB model and 60,000 rubles for the 16/512GB model. The global version will probably only come in black color, although there is a silver version as well.

Red Magic has released a keyboard that attaches magnetically to the bottom of the tablet, as well as a stylus, but pricing has not yet been revealed.
